This week’s practice is a gentle return to the body, with curiosity for both the stories we’ve learned and the sensations that tell their own truth.
In my recent post, Beyond the Meridian Map, I shared how my view of Yin Yoga has evolved—moving from a posture-to-meridian formula toward a fuller, more integrated experience of the body as a dynamic, responsive whole. This class is a companion to that reflection.
🧘♂️ What to Expect
We begin with a few vagal resets to tone the nervous system and prepare the ground for embodied awareness. Then we move through a slow sequence of:
Butterfly
Sphinx
Child’s Pose
Dragonfly
Twists
Along the way, I revisit some of the traditional narratives from early Yin teachings—how a shape is said to stimulate a specific channel—and invite you to feel into those maps with fresh eyes and your own direct experience.
In the Resonance Savasanas, I suggest noticing what’s actually arising—sensations, mood, breath, subtle energetic shifts. Not because we need to find something specific, but to open to a broader understanding of how Yin Yoga impacts the whole system.
